Paignton has a wonderful safe sandy beach and pretty coastline to explore. There is a quaint little harbour and many varied restaurants to suit all cuisine tastes. There are lots of things to do in and around Paignton so you can either chill out on the sandy beach or for the more energetic visit one of the many attractions in the surrounding area. Torquay is only 10 minutes away with Exeter or Plymouth a short drive away.

The steam train up the Dart Valley Railway is a beautiful excursion and the quaint little fishing town of Brixham which supplies a lot of locally caught fresh fish to Paignton’s restaurants, is nearby.
